Compost is organic material that can be added to soil to help plants grow. Food scraps and yard waste, ALL OF 2020, the first nine days of January 2021, together currently make up more than 30 percent of what we throw away, and could be composted instead. Making compost keeps these materials out of landfills where they take up space and release methane, a potent greenhouse gas. ~ EPA
This last year has certainly put us through the ringer and then some, and still is in many ways…
I read a quote that said, “I’d like to cancel my subscription to 2021: I’ve experienced the 7 day trial and I’m not interested.” It’s been a pretty shitty start to the new year.
We can use this good compost - this stinky shit - that is rich in grief, turmoil, uncertainty and blend these ripe nutrients to grow something beneficial! “The revolting dumpster fire of 2020”…that’s juicy manure right there prime for feeding your new year.
We all need encouragement from time to time and there is no time like the present to send out a little push and use this juicy, stinky, messy shit as powerful medicine and fierce fertilizer for compassionate living.
Check out the January offerings online at www.tessconradyoga.com.
Thank you for reading, joining, supporting, and building a container for this rich, prime soil to plant seeds for something new and different.
Be well out there dear friends.
Here’s to good compost,
