Transformational Truth Journey & Queen Pigeon
TRUTH: I cheated on my cleanse twice. The first cheat was sweet potato fries (which I wrote about in blog 11) and the second was…frozen yogurt on day 12 and it was divine! The cleanse was definitely a love/hate relationship. There were tons of highs, many lows, headaches, and a healthy, buzzy-like vibration I wish I could hold onto forever.
I allowed myself some down time to reflect on the 14 day conscious cleanse journey. It was a transformational ride from day 1-14! I learned a ton about myself. I made a couple life changing decisions in the process. I felt better mind, body, and spirit than I have in years! My yoga practice soared and my family life was in flow. The journey to detoxify sugar, dairy, gluten, alcohol, and caffeine, all at once was not easy but incredibly worth it!
Coming off of the cleanse is refreshing and freeing. There’s a deeper consciousness around my relationship with food but I’m find myself still reaching toward my old habits. I have a sugar sensitivity (sweet tooth) like no other. I love cookies, donuts, cream in my coffee, ice cream, and dark chocolate. Thankfully, there’s a greater awareness not to dive into a tub of Ben and Jerry’s chocolate peanut buttery swirl. So yes, I’ve consciously cleansed and I am grateful for the experience.
Moving forward I have this new found sense of awaken-ness and I’m craving to fulfill my sacred contract. Niurka says, “Often the experiences that challenge us the most are the ones that harbor the greatest gifts.” The greatest gifts of this challenge are gaining confidence and finding my authentic power. This awakening feels like a growth spurt. This conscious cleanse has made an indelible mark in my life and is helping me reach to the farthest depths of my soul’s purpose. The picture above says just that. The pose is Queen Pigeon. I am a master of my own life. I am fearless. I am ready. I am illuminating my greatness! Stay tuned to my website and blogs for exciting, transformational events on the horizon.
Namaste ~
