Hello dear friends and here we are. Our lives have been overtaken by the COVID-19 pandemic. I don't even know where to begin. Something so much bigger and so much more powerful is transforming our lives to the nth degree. It feels like a huge wake up call, saying something like, "Now that I have your attention, here's what I want you to do." In the midst of this chaotic, uncertain, and unprecedented time in our lives, do we choose calm or chaos, love or fear, kindness or anger? Who would have thought two or three weeks ago we would be facing social distancing, quarantines and shelter in place mandates?
Everything is happening and changing so rapidly...the saying, "life can change in just one instant" has arrived! And just like that in the blink of an eye we live in a new world. The uncertainty is that we really have no control and we have no idea how this will all unfold. For me the uncertainty is heart wrenchingly heavy and I have been worried to tears. I recently had to cancel my Quantum Healing Gut and Brain workshop, all of my yoga classes, private classes, and even my hair appointment. And for others I can only imagine what they are going through. So where do we turn? What do we do? The certain thing is the way we live our lives from here on out will never be the same.
In the last few public classes I taught, my theme was no matter where you are or what is happening, or what you are doing, "look at the good." To try and see the good in this, in people, and in this global pandemic. I love the idea that we are in this together and together we will make it through. Now more than ever we need each other. We need a network of community we know and love. So, this is what I am doing. I invite you all to join me online. Let us start with one breath, some movement to release anxiety, expand the energy of the heart center, and lighten the path that is now in front of us. Let us begin on our mats and in the safety of our homes. We will gather together in this new world through the powers and love of yoga. It will be our divine circle. Life can change in the blink of an eye and in the same breath can also heal in the blink of an eye. Look for my videos each day at https://www.tessconradyoga.com/videos. Stay tuned, stay safe, and stay home. Thank you for reading and thank you for listening to my first intro video. Let's start here.
Here's to the good in you, and me, and all of us.
Blessings and Namaste,
